In May of 2019 about 1500 robotics enthusiasts from around the world assembled for the TeknoRob robotics competition at KSU University of Turkey. A total of 333 robots were brought to the event representing a variety of robotics disciplines. One of the featured events was the robot sumo competition. The Ikedo Kogeki Team from Malaysia won gold in their category with a robot built using one of our RoboClaw motor controllers. Basicmicro sponsored this winning team and we are happy to hear about their success. They plan to use more RoboClaw motor controllers in their future robots and we can guarantee our motor controllers will handle whatever the team and their competitors throw at them.
